Recently, I did a post about a silly new ‘reality’ TV show called “Sex Sent Me to the ER.”c In the first episode, a couple played around with a remote control vibrator. The man in the couple triggered the vibrator as the woman shopped around in a super market, eventually leading her to crumple in pleasure and bonk her head on a fruit stand, sending her to the hospital for a concussion.
Now, likely, the show is completely staged. And in my opinion, that’s fine. Pretty much all reality shows are staged in one way or another. I think we’ve gotten to the point in television where everyone basically assumes that reality shows are staged, and we can take them for what they are – silly, stupid, endlessly watchable in a trashy sort of way. “Sex Sent Me to the ER” seems to be really running with the ‘trashy’ concept. Take, for example, the latest episode.
In this enlightening clip, a woman has been sent to the hospital because her and her man decided to implement some ‘food’ into their sexual activities. More specifically, pop rocks. For the uninformed, pop rocks are a candy that ‘pop’ and ‘sizzle’ in your mouth as you eat them, creating a strange sensation. These dummies decided it would be a sexy idea to put them all over her lady parts, expecting an exciting tingling sensation to enhance their sexual pleasure.
As you can imagine, filling your vagina with chemicals and sugar that explodes in your mouth did not have the desired effects, and ended up being quite painful. What a surprise, right?
I’ve never experimented too thoroughly with introducing food into the bedroom. The idea doesn’t really appeal to me. It seems messy, kind gross, probably pretty sticky and stinky. I get that this couple wanted to spice things up, but maybe stick with something that doesn’t explode when you mix it with bodily fluids. Perhaps this couple should just stick to body chocolate and edible panties?
I’m going to keep watching clips of this show, regardless of the fact that its extremely stupid. Because stupid stuff entertains me. Because that’s the kind of lady I am!
